took a day off from going to school today, and all I have to say is,' I'M SO BOORREEDDD!!!'

guess being used to going to school every single day, even though it's holiday time and running around in school all the time. When suddenly one day of nothing-to-do comes, it's boring..starring at the computer screen all day, nothing on TV, no mood to watch movies..just facebooking and poking around the computer for the whole day...argh, i'm bored

why do we even have to go to school tomorrow for the classes thingy??we dont even know what time do we have to be there, wad to wear, and all that..ugh..damn useless....

gonna be studying in 4s2 next year. Mom wants me to go back to 4s1, with the pro students, good teachers, air-cond and all that. But can't seem to bring myself to do it. I requested to be in A class last year, and I'm not looking forward to do it again. At least I can't bring myself to do it.. Gonna miss my friends next year. Been with them together for at least 4 to 6 years already. A whole new class, almost all of them are just the people I say hi and smile to if I walk past them. God please help me....T_T

And a particular someone keeps rubbing it in that he/she's in the best class next year and I'm not..ugh..He/she sure has changed. Or somehow I get the feeling that he/she's been like this all along. Always acting sweet and innocent, that's the kind of person who we can never predict whether that person is for real or just acting on the outside. Grrrrr....

Can't believe it's already 26th. Almost at the end of year 2009. So many memories...:)

Did a lot this hols. Literally. Bleh. Lazy to type so much. Not like some people who drones on and on and on..shall let the pics do the talking..

Got a chance to help out with registration for new students..quite fun, esp when you're doing it with friends..met many kinds of parents. Like some who ask a lot of questions.. some very 'cow' ones..many varieties of them!

Then, went to Kuching for a week like that...no TV or internet for a week. To be honest, it feels good. You can finally relax without staring at the computer or TV screen for like 24 hours..

so much to do..so much on my mine. I'm surprised that my brain can hold it all in..but I don't have a big brain..hmm....

Preparations for orientation, youth,band..three main things in my life now. OMg so stressed..The seniors are not giving us a nice time now either. They're not happy cause we can't go for something or whatsoever. WHY?They did it also last year. It's just that their schedule was not that packed last year. Wished they would understand, but it feels like asking a pig to fly..

Some seniors too, I've heard, the gossipy kind, the blonde kind. Can't you keep your mouth shut? We appreciate constructive criticism, but not gossip or something you're not happy about because of your own personal reasons. Do you want us to tell you to leave the next time you come in and do that again?I hate the way some people think. Not pretty enough, so can't do the work. WTH!! It's the potential and the heart to do it that counts!!You're the same age as me, some even older. Can't you see that what you're doing is just plain childish and wrong???UGH, you make me so mad!

can't believe he is gone...

last night,11.30, heard that it started raining at that time. I already went to bed, sodid not know about it.

until about 6 in the morning..

heard the phone ring and dad picking it up..

then heard him knocking on my door and coming in.

he told me the news. At first I didn't believe him, thinking that it was a joke he wants to play to get me out of bed..then looked at him again and realized it was real...

It happened so suddenly,

he was fine this year..stayed in class with us for the first term..

then in July, he stopped coming to school. Then we found out about his condition. Shocked.

He never came back to school after that..

He wanted to sit for PMR so much. He lost his chance the first time and came back again this year. Thinking about it makes me feel angry. He wanted to sit for the exam so much. He studied for it even in his condition. But he lost the chance two times already, and will never get another chance. And yet there are students, fit as a fiddle, yet don't bother to study at all, thinking that studying is crap, never bothering to do well. Think, people! Cherish the chance while you have it.

Looking at him lying in the coffin, he looks at peace, like he is sleeping. Felt relieved and happy for him after hearing about his last moments with his family..Happy for him that he is now in Heaven, away from all the pain and suffering..

We've known each other since we were in kindergarten, yet both of us were too shy to actually be friends with each other. Now looking back at my past, it's funny. I am glad that I am able to get the chance to finally know you, although it is short, but I'll remember it always.

Rest in Peace, dear friend..may we meet again:)

Pasca & Crap

oh please, after PMR total freedom my bum...

still had to go to school today for pasca thingy. Today's program was a 4-hour plus talk on form 4 subjects,what should we take in form 4, how will it benefit us bla bla bla..so basically it was teachers taking turns to come up to tell us about the subjects they teach. It was BOOOORRRRIIINNNGGG. And my butt felt so sore after sitting on the plastic chairs for hours. Good thing we had to come out halfway for meeting. That saved my butt. Then after meeting we didn't wanna go back, so we stayed in class and talked and talked...

had meeting with a bunch of people in the afternoon. Hope you guys won't get cocky just because you got this chance. Then, meeting AGAIN...and that led to some misunderstandings and complications which was well, not fun. Finally realized that doing this is hard. No matter what decision you make, you'll somehow end up making someone unhappy. And he is seriously evil, making us do this. Can't even back out now..zzzzz...CRAP YOU!!!

aaaaa.....going to feli's house later to do some stuff for him...grrr...see?no rest at all...

okay, 6 days, since it's already past 12 here..
6 days left, getting more and more worried every day. especially on some subjects. Worked so hard on it, but still the same outcome. The results are same as the times when I studied last minute..really hope it turns out well during PMR. I really, really want to reach my goal..just to prove to myself I am not losing my touch or anything, prove to myself I can still do it.

All I can do now is try my best, last minute cramming and pray to God.

got my trial 1 results..to be honest, I did quite okay this time..yeah!!hard work paid off^^
all quite good except for that Bahasa Malaysia..ugh...did not do very well in that crapping subject...same goes for my class. Apparently, the only subject that's harder than the paper our school gives is this subject..grrr...WHY do we have to learn a subject that only Malaysia use?=.=

Watched two movies today..watched this first. It's about a woman whose husband died. He left her letters every month to help her get through depression and move on with her life. I read the book before I watched the movie. Both the book and movie were really sweet. Gonna watch it again if I have time. Love this movie^^

Then this. A bit of comedy in it. About two best friends fighting because of their wedding is on the same day. They came up with ways to sabotage each others wedding. Funny and has a good moral value.

By the way, I DID do studying. I watched the movies when I was free.

There was a solar eclipse today. Or we just couldn't see it here in Miri. Didn't see the real thing. Classmates were so excited about it. But I think they only succeeded in blinding themselves. After staring at the sun, they were seeing things in different colors. LOL.

Sat for the New South Wales exam today. As usual, it resulted in a major headache. Surprised to see Letitia and Jeremy in the room. The test paper was so nice. So colorful. So blinding. They are trying to turn us color blind. Like one page is black in color. Then when you turn to the next page, YELLOW. The English standard was so high compared to Malaysian standards. But the passages were nice. Enjoyed it while half asleep. Haha.

Saturday. No difference. Had to wake up early for band practice. Performance this Tuesday for sports day..ugh.. I hate performing at the outdoor stadium. The field is like crap and you risk twisting your ankle or tripping yourself over when you perform there. CRAP,CRAP,CRAP...Felt surprised that I can still run 2 rounds straight around the field even though we didn't have practice for almost a month already..and I was the first few to finish the 2 rounds. so, woo^^

In the afternoon, went for youth. Soo Ching didn't come. I think she wanted to tell me but I was at tuition and I don't have a phone..See?that's what you get for not having a phone. People can't find you at all without going through a lot of trouble. Listen to a talk at youth. Learnt something valuable this afternoon. 'If you think you can. you can' 'Everyone is special' 'Have faith in youself' that kind of stuff. We were asked to do something by the pastor. She wanted everyone of us to hold the teddy bear she brought and do something for 15 seconds while another person took pics of us. It was LOL. Couldn't stop laughing.

After youth I was supposed to go to Lee Yii's farewell party, but didn't go in the end caused felt tired...and there is some other reason. Anyway, I just hope that Lee Yii had a great party and hope that she will fit into the new environment quickly^^ Gonna miss her and her sis. No one to compare my height to after she's gone. don't know why, but felt like school is pointless.
In the morning, walk into school, go long tone.
Try to get juniors to do practice with me. Not working.
When I was a junior, if I ever get the chance to at least TOUCH my instrument, I'd be so happy. But you guys made it look like learning your instrument is a big burden. Then why did you join band in the first place? Why did you choose my instrument? I was supposed to find a new bell player among you guys. But the attitude you guys showed me is so disappointing, you made me lose all hope of ever finding another partner. So frustrated. Every time I look at the list of juniors, I will want one particular person back, but will also know that it's not likely. But the others? Not one of you proved to me that you could be the next mallet percussion player. Even if you've been in the band, chosen my instrument for one or two years already, the standard you showed me is like the standard of someone who've just joined the band. If you're a slow learner, I'll understand. But if you're LAZY, well, you know what a normal person would feel seeing you like that.
After that, class, lessons, teachers blabbering away. Classmates concluding they're not learning anything and are better of doing their own work. Some teachers don't really teach. Made us have no mood and did not want to try and even listen. Hello? PMR? Ring a bell?

everyone did really well..especially this afternoon. Sorry guys, had to leave halfway..but felt so happy when i heard about the results.

can't believe the government is change some subjects to BM..good thing my batch won't kena, but the younger kids like my lil brother will have to go through all those.
thought it was one of the most STUPID ideas the government has ever come up with..not the first time. The kids of the future will have to go through a hard time..couldn't stop ranting in class.. But Aisha said something that made sense. Imagine the stupid cute nerd having a point. Well, she is a nerd and stupid too..HAHAHAHA...AISHA SUCKS BUT I STILL LOVE HER!!XD
she said that this can help some of the kids. Some of them couldn't get good marks in Maths and Science cause it's in English. And maybe if the language is changed maybe they can do better..hmm..Bittersweet conclusion.

okay, long time since my last update..

okay, saw something really interesting today..XD
after school and band practice...all of us were waiting for parents to pick us up..then...
we saw...hmmm.....
a white car trying to enter a lane without turning on the signal...
and...
a speeding black wira knocked into the white car...
wow...first time in my life i get to witness an accident...
luckily no one was hurt...but the wira owner came out of his car and started scolding(i think) the person driving the white car...
i mean, what is wrong with him? ya the other guys didn't turn on the signal...but he was speeding too...i thought we're not allowed to speed near the school...scared of hitting a dog, a cat or a kid...
if he's wrong also why scold the other guy like he owes him a thousand bucks??lolz...btw...there was also a CH kid in the car. i think i know him...hmmm....after that...the road started to get crowded with busybody drivers who just HAD TO stop or slow down to see....yeeessshh...
anyways...okay, why am i ranting about this?maybe just cause i have nothing to do?XD

nothing really interesting happened today...
except that my chinese teacher went BALLISTIC today...
can't blame her though, 15 people went out of the class to go to the loo and she wasn't very happy about it.
whoa...hearing her shout (lesson of the day: never judge a person by his/her height..XD)
then she changed our seats...i went from the last row in the corner to the second row in the front. At least i can listen to teacher clearly but no more doing other stuff in class...*sobs*...too noticeable...oh ya, i ended up sitting next to ben. not bad, hmm....
then had band practice in the afternoon. Formation for some performance on who knows when...lolz..
received a belated valentine's day gift today...it was so sweet...thanks to you-know-who...^^

Nothing to do...so went looking for history of Valentine's day...here's one of them:

February 14 is Valentine's Day. Although it is celebrated as a lovers' holiday today, with the giving of candy, Valentine flowers, or other gifts between couples in love, it originated in 5th Century Rome as a tribute to St. Valentine, a Catholic bishop.

For eight hundred years prior to the establishment of Valentine's Day, the Romans had practiced a pagan celebration in mid-February commemorating young men's rite of passage to the god Lupercus. The celebration featured a lottery in which young men would draw the names of teenage girls from a box. The girl assigned to each young man in that manner would be his sexual companion during the remaining year.

In an effort to do away with the pagan festival, Pope Gelasius ordered a slight change in the lottery. Instead of the names of young women, the box would contain the names of saints. Both men and women were allowed to draw from the box, and the game was to emulate the ways of the saint they drew during the rest of the year. Needless to say, many of the young Roman men were not too pleased with the rule changes.

Instead of the pagan god Lupercus, the Church looked for a suitable patron saint of love to take his place. They found an appropriate choice in Valentine, who, in AD 270 had been beheaded by Emperor Claudius.

Claudius had determined that married men made poor soldiers. So he banned marriage from his empire. But Valentine would secretly marry young men that came to him. When Claudius found out about Valentine, he first tried to convert him to paganism. But Valentine reversed the strategy, trying instead to convert Claudius. When he failed, he was stoned and beheaded.

During the days that Valentine was imprisoned, he fell in love with the blind daughter of his jailer. His love for her, and his great faith, managed to miraculously heal her from her blindness before his death. Before he was taken to his death, he signed a farewell message to her, "From your Valentine." The phrase has been used on his day ever since.

Although the lottery for women had been banned by the church, the mid-February holiday in commemoration of St. Valentine was still used by Roman men to seek the affection of women. It became a tradition for the men to give the ones they admired handwritten messages of affection, containing Valentine's name.

The first Valentine card grew out of this practice. The first true Valentine card was sent in 1415 by Charles, duke of Orleans, to his wife. He was imprisoned in the Tower of London at the time.
